I've been really bad about this before...

Journal Entry: Mon Sep 17, 2007, 8:40 AM
..but I'd like someone to paint. Completely clothed, of course. =)

A detailed and textured portrait with a lot of nooks and crannies. I need to get Kruger out of my system.

Here's an idea of the style and complexity of portrait I'm looking for. [link] (Note: Just to clarify, this is not my work. This is Sebastian Kruger's work. He is a God among men.)

Interested? I'm sure we can work something out where you can own the final piece after I include it in my portfolio. Drop me a line (and a photo, perhaps?) at ckent@charleskent.net. Only enthusiastic, creative, and flexible persons need apply. Thanks for reading!

If you can't find a model.. hmm..

Go outside, and downtown (if you have one) and paint what you see thats interesting, including the people. Pay them to stand still? Hah.

Or find a good stock, they can help, but nothing beats real life studies.

That would mean exposure to sunlight. Can't have that!

I'm kidding. I really should take my sketchbook drawing out and beyond my place of residence. Sometimes good ideas are so simple that we overlook them.

Do you need someone to model in person, or would a photograph work?

An interesting photograph would suffice. :) Preferably from a weird angle!

If you don't find a model you might try pulling from the large pool of stock photos on deviant for reference. :)
